52/32: Leary
Feb. 13th, 2025 07:11 pmI keep forgetting this. It rained all day, as expected, which was pleasing. There was a damp piece of mail, but it wasn't anything important. My neck, however, has been making me miserable, and dinner gave me some serious indigestion, so I can't say all is well. An important key on my keyboard is sticking, making it more tedious than usual to use. I'm hoping it won't make ordering groceries more difficult, as I'm arranging for a pickup Friday.
It's quite chilly tonight, and it's damp chill. It will probably rain much of the night, but it is likely to dry out early tomorrow morning. I'm hoping my indigestion will be gone by then. The dinner I had planned probably wouldn't have brought the indigestion on, but I forgot what I was doing and made the wrong thing. Another dementia-related tragedy. Or
inconvenience. I guess they overlap. Most tragedies are inconvenient. Just ask Hamlet or King Lear.
More distress lies in the current forecast, which predicts two days with highs of seventy degrees coming up later this month. I strongly disapprove of such high highs in February. So unseemly! I'll try not to think about what this extravagance might presage for July. Thinking about right now, I'm thinking I'll go to sleep and perhaps dream about snow.
