52/47: Mild
Feb. 28th, 2025 11:06 pmFriday was another mild day, and the mildness lingered far into the evening. I had the windows open for hours. A faint hint of diesel fumes from the freeway was detectible as I finally closed them about eight o'clock. I'm still not feeling 100% though. In fact I'm not feeling 50%. I'm more like 31%. Parts (joints, stomach, lungs) are maybe about 17%. I have had quite a few leg cramps, some of which interrupted my sleep. I don't like my sleep interrupted.
Despite the warm day it cooled off quickly after sunset, and now it is quite chilly again. I expect the furnace to cycle on soon. I'll be glad when we are done with that for the season. That won't be very soon though. Cooler weather and some rain arrive Sunday and continue through the week at least. The clock adjustment will soon bring back darker mornings again, for a while. But of course brighter evenings will be the tradeoff. I used to enjoy the brighter evenings, but that was when I got out and went places. Now that I'm confined to this narrow world, they seem like a cruel taunt. I get enough cruel taunts from the Idernet. Nobody needs the weather to join in.
