52/179: Dis Tract

We're having a couple of mildish days before the serious heat returns. Starting next Friday there will be five days in a row with triple-digit highs, and nights with little cooling power. I'll be needing a lot of air conditioning. There is also a wildfire burning in Lake County, and now and then I get a whiff of smoke from it. What I fear is that we will end up getting heavy smoke during the hot period, which would be a nightmare.

It's almost bedtime again, or maybe a little bit past it, as I got up very early again today (Monday) and have since gone napless. As a bedtime snack I just finished a bowl of ramen. It's been a long time since I've had one. I'm actually running low on them, since they haven't been on sale cheap enough for quite a while. I can't bring myself to pay almost two bucks for a bowl of what is essentially just noodle soup. Even if it's as spicy as the one I just ate. Which might be setting off my reflux. Sure was tasty though.

I can't get comfortable in this chair. I'm going to bed. I can't think of anything to say anyway.
