Reset Forty-Nine, Day Four
May. 27th, 2023 06:22 amI feels like I haven't been actually sleeping when I'm in bed. This might be a delusion. It just seems like I'm spending way more bed time awake than I used to. The corollary is that I feel like I'm spending more time sleeping in my chair. This would be great if I had a big, comfy reclining chair, but I only have a swively, rolling, armless office chair. Not a good place to sleep. I'm about to go hop into bed right now, if I don't nod off and fall out of my chair and break my neck first. Of course as soon as I get into bed I expect I'll wake up completely, and spend the next couple of hours fruitlessly attempting to get to sleep.
Friday I discovered the mango I bought last time I shopped, and it was rotting away already. I forgot to put it out where I could see it, and thus forgot I had it. That's the second mango in a row to meet that fate. I wish I would stop doing that. I should probably stop buying fruit I don't have proper display space for. Or get rid of some of the other stuff in the kitchen so I'll have room for a fruit bowl.
Just ate some spicy teriyaki noodles and drank a bottle of Guinness. I might regret that, but I didn't want to go to bed hungry. Too bad I ruined my mango. It would have ben a good bedtime snack. Oh well.
