Reset Forty-Nine, Day Twenty-Nine

rejectomorphI got some stuff done Thursday, though less than I'd hoped. I got my bedding partly changed, but not yet laundered, which is a big thing I've been putting off. It was exhausting, but I avoided taking a nap after doing it. I made a list of stuff I want from the store, and plan to get it ordered and picked up Monday.
I've also gotten an email from J.C. Penney's saying one item from my order has shipped and is expected to arrive Saturday, and the rest of the order has ben assembled and is awaiting pickup, which will probably be this morning. That part is being sent from Reno, so conceivably could be here by tonight, but more likely it will come tomorrow, most likely early, so I'll have to be awake to outwit the porch pirates. My seep is apt to be problematic for the next few days.
For dinner I heated the third serving of the chili beans I made a few days ago. It's not a surprise that the acid indigestion is back. I might have to give up chili, and I'd really miss it. I've got one more serving of the current batch in the refrigerator, and it's sad to think it might be my last ever. I wonder what I'll have to give up next?
The weather was a bit milder than expected, and we've got a couple more days in the low eighties before things start heating up seriously again. The real horror begins next Thursday, the first of a string of eight days with highs 100 or above. Seriously? Maybe I should start making funeral arrangements now, because if the string lasts any longer than that (and it probably will) I might not survive. Ah, well. At least the family will be able to save on cremation fees. Just leave my corpse out on the driveway and it will be ash by sundown.
I'm going to try to sleep some more now. I didn't have a nap last night, so it ought to be easy. Unless I'm overtired and thus brain-hyper. But yay, comfy partly new-made bed to lie tossing and turning awake in.
