Reset Forty-Nine, Day Two Hundred
Dec. 12th, 2023 06:31 amAs I thought Sunday evening was Monday morning, it's fitting that all Monday afternoon I thought it was still Sunday. I'm trying not to think about what day it might be right now. All I know for sure is that I didn't get dinner until three o'clock in the morning, and it's still fighting with me. Today is supposed to get comparatively warm for the time of year, with a high of 66. Why, it's a damned heat wave! I might sleep through the warmest part of it though, as I'm getting pretty tired again.
My brain is resistant to any strenuous activities. It keeps wandering off into idle fancies. These probably won't manifest themselves as dreams, as all my recent dreams (as far as I recall them, which isn't very far) are about hunting in strange places for unidentified lost things. I hate those dreams, and would as soon have them displaced, but they probably have to run their course. Where their course ends I couldn't say. I never find whatever it is I'm looking for in them, and they just sort of fade away as I give up the hunt. If I ever actually find anything, or even find out what the thing is, the surprise will probably kill me. I canlive with accept that.
