51/05: Fried

rejectomorphI totally forgot this today, didn't I. Yes. I remembered that I had new donuts, and I ate one, and then I was going to do this, and instead I... I don't remember. Might have gone back to sleep. Who knows? At some point I drank a beer, because the empty can is sitting right here on the table, next to the mouse pad. I also believe I've left the windows open all night and all day. And Monday I got the shopping done, and put away, and was quite disgruntled with the store and its service. The web site lied to me, and caused disruption, then they failed to honor a good coupon I'd clipped, then they made me talk to a barely intelligible, fake-voiced 'bot. I might be just about done with Raley's. Four years ago the best store for online shopping, now just about the worst. I disrecommend them.
Our cool days will be coming to an end soon, and the remainder of September is going to be sadly summery. There is even a triple digit high day coming up on the 24th. But the nights will stay in the sixties, so at least I'll be able to cool off for free then. But what I'm going to do right now is go check the mail and then give my fried brain an evening nap, because I'm exhausted again. I guess dinner will be late again too.
