rejectomorphA day like yesterday, but there was clearing and sunlight for about fifteen minutes in mid afternoon, and then a bit more clearing just after sunset. Then a strip of cloud turned bright pink, and although the sky directly above appeared to be free of clouds, I felt cold, sharp little drops of rain drifting from the dark, wind-roiled shapes to the north. April ending, and the lilacs fading, and they've barely seen the sun.
