Aside from the weather, there's this:
Deer must have come by last night. The rose bushes across the street have been stripped of most of their un-wilted flowers. I seldom hear what goes on outdoors in the night now, with the fan making so much noise.
More little fogs of spider web are appearing on the lawn. I have yet to see the spiders themselves. Even seen from very close, the webs look more like a dense haze than actual web. The individual strands are barely visible. The clumps are about three inches across, and haven't caught anything larger than gnats. The spiders must be tiny, to weave such fine silk.
I haven't been for a long walk in more than a week. I'm starting to get leg cramps from lack of exercise. I hate July.
Update: I can't believe I had to edit this entry because I wrote here in place of hear! I hope my new brain is delivered soon, because the old one is just about shot.
