The results of my Goth-Trendy-Alternative Test. And I'm not sure that it is very accurate, because I didn't recognize the names of a lot of the groups and movies they asked questions about, so I just answered on the basis of whether or not I liked the names. But then, that would account for my rather low trendiness score. Why I'm not more goth, I don't know. I guess I've just outgrown much of my youthful depression.

15% Trendy
70% Alternative

You don't fit readily into the other two groups, but you are reasonably alternative. But not quite pretentious enough to actively try and be weird. Or maybe you're just unfashionable.

OK, people. It's not hard. The three categories here are not complementary... these are three different scales. The reason they don't add up is because much like apples and oranges, they're not members of the same set! =D

Conclusion: Quite how you can be both trendy and alternative at the same time it's difficult to see, but, if the test is actually working properly (hah!), then you may be one of those popular kinds of people who pretend to be stupid just so they can cope with the inanity of their peers.

Ah, so, in addition to all that other stuff, I could also be, say, 15% punk, 10% cowboy, 20% Sung Dynasty taoist monk, 15% Roman patrician, 5% lesbian flapper, etc. Thanks. I feel much better now. I was afraid that my options were shrinking.
