There must be some wind up in the sky, because I can see the clouds drift slowly east. That's a good thing, since it is also keeping the smoke from the fire up against the mountains, even though the air down here is quite still. The clouds thinned for a while, but appear to be thickening again. We probably won't be seeing the meteor shower tonight. The fire doesn't seem to be spreading much, though, so there's probably a good chance I won't burn to death just yet. Whoopie.
Sluggo is very unhappy today. Even with the air conditioning on, he has crashed twice already. He might need maintenance. I'll do that, and watch for meteors in any gaps that appear in the clouds, and try to catch up on LJ tomorrow.
