Fresh

For a while, a strong smell of smoke hung in the air, but the northern breeze returned, and now all is fresh. The sky was clearer than it was the previous night, and I happened to look up at the right time to see one last meteor before the early light made the stars vanish. It has become quite pleasant outdoors. I wish it could stay this cool all day, and that the air would remain clear, but I won't get the first wish, and probably not the second, either. But there is bound to be some improvement, however slight. Maybe I will even become a bit more energetic. OK, now I'm just expecting miracles.
