Not Too Bright

After reading about the huge solar flares, as posted by pixelshim, I was hoping to see a bit of the northern lights tonight. But, so far, all there is is a very faint reddish glow in the sky. The display earlier this year (or was it late last year- time being wont to fly) was much more intense. Well, there are several hours of darkness yet. I'll keep checking; it still might brighten up.
