Well, that really bit. The Madcow cluster was the last to come back, too, so I have a lot of stuff to catch up on. It will probably take even longer for virtual space/time to recover from the rent in its fabric. While LJ was gone, the emo quotient of the Internet declined by 3.29%, the goth factor was reduced by .799, and twenty three online quiz companies went under. There's no telling what effect this will all have on the economy. On the bright side, the event provided no end of entertainment for the Slashdotards.

The beauty is that Brad Fitz is enough of an uber geek to quiet the Slashdotards. He is our champion. In the movie version of the LJ story he smotes the biggest Slashdotard geek and then stands in front of the two armies screaming "is there no one else?"

I'm impressed! That's a very high concept proposal. I think you might even be able to get Spielberg interested in producing. I'd suggest Seth Green to play Brad. He has a lot of geeky energy, and, inexplicably, women find him sexy. LJ and Seth Green. The female demographic 14-28 will go wild, and the geek boys will have their own hero on screen! It's the perfect formula for a blockbuster!
