Kiss me, Hardy!
Jun. 28th, 2005 04:32 amWhen I started this journal, on June 28th, 2001, I had no idea that the day was the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. The beginning of my LJ career was probably a less historically significant event than was the defeat of the French fleet by Nelson's, 200 hundred years ago now, so I probably don't deserve a parade of ships or a big fireworks display. I'm not expecting the Queen to leave me a congratulatory comment, either, but, since she almost certainly has a DeadJournal, she soon will be able to leave me comments under her DJ identity, if she wishes, thanks to the journal anniversary gift Brad gave me. Thanks, Brad!
There was some danger that I would write something all sappy and sentimental for the occasion, but good fortune prevails for one and all today: I don't feel like doing it.
Four more years, four more years, four more years!
