Huh? Morning Already?
Nov. 12th, 2001 05:03 amI am just spending way too much time on the web. I'm going to go over my monthly time limit and get charged $1.95 for each extra hour by my ISP. Besides, I need to catch up on my reading. Here are some of the places I've been spending that excessive time:
The albums of Webshots user rocsdad have thousands of high quality photographs of the works of painters, both well known and lesser known. One of the web's best art collections.
Here, you can take a tour of Pasadena's classic Gamble House, designed by architects Charles and Henry Greene. The ultimate California bungalow.
Architecture is also the attraction at Great Buildings Online. Not an exhaustive site, but if you use their search engine, you can find biographies of architects, information about a number of famous buildings, and useful links to other sites about the same buildings and architects.
And, of course, I've been spending time at my favorite local history site, which is (in case you missed my post about it early Saturday morning) the San Diego Historical Society. The best of it's kind.
And now, to sleep.
