Today

Dawn today will lurk behind the clouds. Day will slowly spread, grey and liquid, over glistening fields and shiny pavement, stealing gradually under the dark wet branches of the trees in which the birds wait for the break in the rain. When I wake perhaps the birds will be seeking worms in the soft grass. I will get oranges and we will breakfast together.

Greetings!

Yes, the interests links are, themselves, one of the most interesting features of Live Journal. I check my list every few days, to see if any new links have formed. Of course, I don't always add people to my friends list merely because we have some interest in common. They also need to be able to put words together well, and to have something to say that can hold my interest. I'd say you qualify.
