Late Again

It gets worse every day. I can't believe I'm running this late. That's what I get for enjoying the rain so much, I suppose. I have to go out and stand in it too often and for too long. I know it will soon be gone for several months, and I'll be sweltering in the appalling days and nights of summer. But all this self-indulgence leaves me playing catch-up with everything else. I wish I could be one of those people who gets by on four hours of sleep. I barely get by on eight.
