Washed

A very soft rain has washed the town all night, leaving it smelling of both damp decay and freshness. All the piled leaves are moldering, but the lawn is coming back to life. I'm not sure yet which of these I'm doing. The head yanking yesterday went well, and my neck is feeling pretty good these days, but my hip, knee, shoulder and elbow joints are still sore and stiff. I guess I could go either way. We'll see.


Here's the Beta of yotophoto, a search engine which indexes free-to-use stock photographs-- stuff in the public domain, released under Creative Commons or GNU licenses, etc. There's not much there yet, but it might turn into a useful service over the log run.


Oh, and so long, Republican House. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out (unless you enjoy that sort of thing, of course.)

I don't count the Senate, because of Joe Lieberman. He might as well be Bush's uncle.

But at least we're rid of Rick Sanctimonium.

I'm pleased that Californian's won't have this guy to kick around anymore. Unfortunate that his buddy Doolittle (4th district- practically over my back fence) scuttled back into office by a very thin margin.
