Venus got to have the sky to herself for quite a while tonight. Thin clouds kept the lesser stars at bay, and the waning moon won't be up for hours. There's still no sign that winter will reassert itself. I worry that the accursed groundhog might have been right. Afternoon was perfect for lounging outdoors in shirtsleeves, but not for labor. I was glad there were no more leaves to be raked, as it was too warm to be raking leaves.

Yes, yes, I know. Like so many, I talk about the weather, but I don't doanything about it! Well, maybe I'll have a picnic if it keeps being so springlike.
