I've stayed well away from my television all afternoon and evening because I get the feeling it might explode, even though it isn't on. To actually turn it on would run the risk of soaking the air in blood, of course. That's always a danger whenever the poundits have gone on a feeding frenzy. Gore fairly drips from their disgusting jowls at times such as this.


I just sit in the quiet of evening reading a book and listening to the crickets and frogs, and the purring cat.
