Sweat

The last couple of nights it's been getting hotter here. There's been a heaviness to the air bringing a tropical quality to the first few hours of darkness. Outside, things cool down after a while, but last night the house stayed hot all night. The air conditioning is out of the question because the old people have been getting neuralgia from it. I hope I'm not driven to the extreme of wanting to wear shorts, because my old shorts no longer fit. I can't make any new cutoffs, either, because none of my old cutoffable pants fit any more, and I certainly don't want to cut up my new pants. I am in dire seams!


Too hot to stay in. I'm outing myself!
