What the... October, Gone?

I completely forgot that this was Halloween. Nary an urchin descended on our block, anyway. They seldom do these years, even when the weather is as delightfully Halloweeny as it is tonight, with the still, chill air occasionally stirred by unexpected breezes that send dry leaves skittering along the street, sounding like dessicated spiders. And our freshly pollarded mulberry tree would have been a such a scary sight, sticking up bare and gnarled like a giant hand. Hey, maybe I should have gotten a costume and gone out.


Oh, I get a head-yanking by the chiropractor tomorrow. Better than candy.

just hang a large white sign on your neck that say "w/ Sluggo"

That reminds me, it's almost that time of year when it will be cold enough that I can wake Sluggo up and let him go on the Internet, without having him burst into flames. Be scared then!
