Further Technodoltery
Jan. 12th, 2002 05:49 amI've never downloaded my journal. No backup. I just tried to use the export journal feature, but (surprise!) can't figure out how it works. Ah, the joys of being technologically inept!
Maybe I should just save the entries as individual web pages, and stick them on floppy discs. Rely on Internet Exploder to read them.
Someday I have to figure this stuff out.

Date: 2002-01-12 09:21 pm (UTC)I used to have winzip, but never got it to work right, either. It got left behind when my nephew moved everything (well, not everything, obviously) to my new hard drive.
I guess I'll just keep trying to figure out the basic backup dealie. But, thanks anyway.

Date: 2002-01-14 05:28 am (UTC)I managed to download July, but, for some reason, every time I've tried to download any more months, my ISP causes an invalid page fault and shuts down. That used up a lot of time last night. But, it will probably clear up eventually.
For the time being, it is probably best that I not irritate Sluggo by adding any new programs, but I may decide that I need this one later. Thanks for the offer to unpack it.
