Almost all of the day was taken up by goings on and comings and goings and visits and other unorthodox occurrences. Outside, the air held a hint of balminess, as though spring were trying to poke a hole in winter, and I was able to leave the windows open until an hour before sunset. If tomorrow is nice too I'll probably be unable to resist the temptation to do outdoor stuff, and thus have little time for Internets again. Must get e-mail configured! Probably won't.
In lieu of an actual post, here's a link I've been hoarding: Another reason to visit Florence (if one were needed), is football in livery. Judging from the photo on this page, it looks as though the game might get a bit rough as it progresses. Afterwords there'll be wine and food, I'm sure.
Tomorrow then.

Date: 2008-01-20 06:51 am (UTC)I found another calcio site. It says the 2007 festival got so violent it had to be canceled. Looks a bit like a Renaissance Fair with blood and gore.

Pay no attention to the fact that I'm dozing off! It has nothing to do with age!
