Should I get pictures on CD ROM or posted to the web? It will be cheap processing, either way. Safeway or Rite Aid or K Mart or some such place. I think on line posting is a bit cheaper. But ready made CD backup would be nice. Decisions, decisions.

Also, when I try to post a comment or this journal entry, I get an error message reading "HTTP; Bad Request."

Well, I didn't think it was that bad.

I opt for the CD ROM. It insures storage, access and saves space in my clunky PC.

As to the "HTTP; Bad Request." - that happens with me every now and then too - I think it has something to do with LJ's servers being overloaded or something, but as to why the onus is put on us as a BAD REQUEST, I have no idea why - maybe we are supposed to ask: Please, May I? However, if I keep trying, I eventually am able to post my entry or comment.

I'd say CD-ROM too... I end up burning all my photos there anyway, for archival purposes. the thought of a crash and losing them all... *shudder*.

and ditto on the bad request; they should really be throwing a 503 service unavailable instead.

Hmm

You can either get the CD-ROM and then upload them to the web, or have them uploaded to the web (at the same quality?) and then burn them to CD. One of the two might be easier.

But which? *dramatic chord*
