rejectomorphTime flies when you're having heat stroke.
And another cat has turned up. Its a small, grayish, not-quite-tabby female. I mistook it for the tabby at first, as it was lying beside the driveway about forty feet away, but when I spoke to it, it got up and came over to meow at me and rub against my leg, which the feral cats would never do. It's clearly accustomed to people, but didn't look very well fed. I didn't encourage it once I realized it was a new cat. If it hangs around here, it's likely to get into fights with the feral cats, and it would probably come out the loser. Luckily, it has only turned up in the front yard, and the feral cats stick pretty much to the back yard. If the new kitty is homeless, I hope it soon finds a home elsewhere. I certainly can't take in another stray. I don't even know how long I'll be in this place myself.
