Confused

Heh. Gray kitty is on my back porch, looking in the window at me like I didn't already feed him twice today. He's quite serious about bulking up for the winter. Or maybe he knows something about my future that I don't? Nah, he's just a kitty, not a seer. Now, if any birds started hanging around giving me looks like that, then I'd begin to worry.

Very few birds were around this afternoon, now that I think of it. They must have picked my yard clean of everything they find edible before I woke up. I did wake up a bit late today, and thought it was even later. Dim days can cause that. Clouds kept the light from my window, and when I finally woke up I momentarily thought it was almost sunset already, though it was only two o'clock in the afternoon. Winter, dead ahead!

And how did I miss the news of the imminent injustice to Bill Stickers?

haha! i LOLed, as they say. that's great!

the gray kitty's sense of entitlement is perfectly feline, isn't it? way to go, cat. i used to have a family of cardinals that i'd feed on my porch in cold weather. when i was late with the seeds, they'd sit on the porch railing and look in the window. when i moved from that house, i felt like a meanie, leaving them in the lurch.
