Snooze Lose

I'd forgotten that warm, dry air tends to knock me out. It's like the desert is drifting down onto me one grain of sand at a time. Yup. Unintentional nap. Had the wind still been blowing, it might have kept me alert, but the air is now still and quiet. I vaguely remember an acorn woodpecker trying to wake me by rapping on the eaves, but after that, nothing until I woke up groggy. And this was following two cups of coffee. The god of caffeine has deserted me!

After I finally woke up I did manage to find something interesting on the Internets, though, so the evening wasn't a total loss. Every cloud has a Spam lining.

Now to shower, so I can forget how dry the air is.
