Damp

Last night's thin ground fog vanished with the sun. Tonight there is a slightly heavier damp in the air, which blurred the setting moon and hides all but the brightest stars. Maybe the fog will keep getting thicker each night. While out enjoying the vagueness, I've heard a few more flocks of migrating birds fly over. Their calls add more pleasure to the already delightful atmosphere.

But look! It's almost midnight! Time to open a bottle of beer to begin commemorating the 75th anniversary of the repeal of prohibition!
