rejectomorphThe cracks in the concrete of my back porch are getting bigger. It makes me wonder if a sink hole is going to open in the yard. Most likely, it's the roots of some pine tree cut down fifty years ago rotting away, causing the ground to settle. The forest's revenge!
There is more warm wind blowing tonight, and January is going to get baked tomorrow as the temperature rises above 70F. A couple more days and we'll be hearing frogs and crickets. Boy, are they in for a surprise. This balminess can't possibly last. There's almost a whole winter waiting to re-pounce! In the meantime, the house gets a good airing, which is nice. It will smell good when it collapses into the sink hole.
