Bleh

Today was the first day of serious pollen, which was quite serious this year. I think that inhaling all that burnt vegetation during the fires last summer might have increased my sensitivity to the stuff. Whatever the reason, it pretty much knocked me on my ass, and I don't feel like doing anything. I'm also quite sure the acorn woodpeckers were laughing at me as I sat on the back porch sneezing and aching this afternoon. The squirrels seemed to be amused, too. The only sympathy I got was from the gray cat, who looked at me sadly. He got extra food. The squirrels and woodpeckers can go get stuffed.
