Mildness

We had a nice, cool gray day. After dark a few sprinkles of rain fell, but that came to nothing. Even without rain, it was nice to have the overcast. We might not get many more of those this spring, though the forecast is for partial cloudiness for the next five days. Overcast is really my favorite kind of spring weather, so I enjoyed it while I could. Also, it smells nice outside. Spring damp is one of the richest scents. I've been out sniffing it, and listening to the frogs, and the black and white kitty came and sat on my lap for a few minutes. I didn't get much done, but I'd still call this a successful day.
