Belated Again

My days keep getting attenuated. Here I am late again, another day missed. I used to update twice a day, but now I'm kept too busy. Looking after old people is very time consuming.

The brave kitten came within ten feet of me as I sat on the back porch this (last) evening, and took a cat nap. The other two stayed farther away, but didn't run off. Maybe they'll start following the brave kitten's example.

It'll be back to running the air conditioner tomorrow, I fear. Five days in a row in the nineties are predicted. Most likely still more will follow. Oh, July.

if we could get them to outlaw summer, i'd be much happier.

zack has, over the 6 or so years he's lived here, come to regard me as another cat, i think. he was almost silent at first but in the last year or so has begun to talk to me all the time, those little mrrs and merts that they use to talk to other cats. maybe the kittens will eventually regard you as a littermate. :)

They can consider me a littermate as long as they don't start sharing their kills with me.
