Yanked

The yanking of the head went well, but I didn't spend much time away from the house. There's been too much to do lately. It was very nice out, and I'd have liked to go for a walk, but walks are no longer in my schedule. I did get to sit on the porch for a while and watch the feral cats frolic. They are enjoying the milder afternoons, I think. I doubt they're too happy about the colder nights, though. All of them vanished from the yard last night, and I think they might have taken refuge from the wind and chill by going into the shed. They'll be extremely unhappy about Saturday night. It's going to drop into the forties. Autumn is making up for lost time.
