Lull

Another big chunk of the back fence came down last night. If this continues the whole thing is apt to need rebuilding. The biggest storm of the lot is expected to arrive tomorrow. If anybody along the coast has lost items to the wind, let me know and I'll keep a lookout for them. There's no telling what might come down here.

This evening it's very quiet. There's been a lull since late afternoon, with nothing more than occasional sprinkles falling. Even the drip in the ceiling has stopped. Earlier the winds were loud enough to wake me again. No big trees have fallen down nearby so far. All that manage to remain upright will get sunlight Saturday. I'll be happy to see it myself.
