Lap Cats Make Typing Difficult

rejectomorphThe baked macaroni and cheese keeps ending up too dry. Maybe my eye has forgotten how to measure. I'll have to resort to using actual measuring devices. More stuff to wash.
There was a small cricket in the garage this evening. I haven't heard any crickets yet this year, despite a couple of warm days in a row. Usually they begin chirping as soon as the weather warms up. I don't know if the one I saw tonight will ever get a chance to chirp, because I think Portia snagged it while I wasn't looking.
My room smells nice now. I was able to leave the windows open for a couple of hours this afternoon. Some scented plant has decided to perfume the air. I have no idea which plant it is. It isn't the daphne and it isn't the gardenia. Whatever it is, I wouldn't mind having a few more of them.
