Funny. When I started this journal I was struggling with Sluggo the evil computer. Now here it is nine years later and I'm stuck on Gladys the crappy laptop. Things are going about as slowly now as they were then. The only improvement is that Gladys doesn't crash every few minutes. She just takes freaking forever to do anything, and gets the fantods if I brush her touchpad the wrong way or hit the wrong key on her scrunched-up keyboard. So I'm not quite nostalgic for Sluggo. It's close, though.

Anyway, the heat wave continues, and I continue to vegetate. Or is it go to seed?

I'm sure Sluggo has gotten to her, despite his comatose state. I should never have kept her on the shelf next to him!
