The telephone service here is deteriorating. During recent weeks my line has gone dead for two or three hours at a time more than once. No phone line means no Internet. When there is Internet it tends to be sluggish and unreliable, with pages frequently timing out before they can load. It makes using it tedious. Ah, well, I've got a lot of work to catch up on anyway.

Let's see if this even posts.
