Here and Gone

A few clouds arrived in time to give the half moon something to illuminate. An hour later they had drifted away and the sky was bland again. Watching the trees was dull, so I came in to look at Internets, but my attention keeps wandering. The clouds spoiled me, and all I want to do is sit in the dark and remember them. That a bit of moonlit dust and water vapor can provide such delightful viewing is amazing. That a fortune in complex technology can't compete with it is a bit depressing. I'm going to put the computer to sleep so I can go back to my dreams.
