It's gotten very cold here, now that the rain is over and the sky is clear, but it's still very damp. My poor feral kitties are going to have an unpleasant night. It probably won't get much below 40 degrees, but the humidity will make it feel even colder. This evening, by the light of the crescent moon I could see my breath condense in the chilled air. Maybe later there will be fog and I'll hear dew dripping from the trees. That would be nice. But I'll still worry about the cats.

Date: 2010-11-12 11:34 pm (UTC)I'm not sure where the feral cats hide out. Farah spent summer nights mostly on my roof. I heard her running around up there. Alger might be hanging out in a shed in a nearby yard. He always appears from that direction when he comes to eat. They can't get into my garage at night because I keep it closed once Portia comes home from her evening wanderings, so she won't escape when she goes out there. The garage is pretty much hers year-round. She likes to hang out in the rafters.
