I did a Google image search on "Big Ben," just to see if a bell would show up. Nope. Aside from a couple of people and a couple of pets, every image was of the tower or the clock. No bell. I only went through the first two hundred images, and there were several thousand results, so there might be a bell in there somewhere. I didn't see it, though.

Out of interest have you ever tried typing in "London Bridge"? Whenever I do it I kept finding pictures of Tower Bridge in London, and when I typed Tower Bridge I got the one in Sacramento as opposed to the one in London, stupid American search engines, but that was last year, I guess they'll be a few more million images since then.

"London Bridge" does bring up mostly pictures of Tower Bridge, along with a couple of shots of London Bridge in its current location. "Tower Bridge" now brings up lots of pictures of the actual Tower Bridge in London. "Tower of London" provided me with mostly pictures of the right place, but a couple of shots of Tower Bridge were there, too.

Did you know that when the developers of Lake Havasu City bought London Bridge, they thought that they were getting Tower Bridge? Boy, were they surprised when they opened the plans for reconstructing the dis-assembled stones and saw that rather plain stone arch bridge. Heh. I would like to have seen their faces. Bunch of dumbasses.

Yes, I liked that one, not as good as the French Man who sold half of Paris's famous landmarks to the Americans 10 times over. When the new owners came to collect what they had bought they realised they had been conned...

But, with a search term like "Big Ben Bell," you're lucky you didn't come up with pictures of some naked guy named Ben Bell from a gay porn site.
