I've been writing less lately, haven't I? Too much other stuff to do. Last night I finally got to see Prospero's Books. In fact I got to see most of it twice. Thank you, Independent Film Channel. I wouldn't have known what to make of it if I'd seen it only once. I might post something about it later. Very interesting movie.

I might get a chance to go to Chico this afternoon. I really need new pants. The old ones are getting so worn that I'll soon be unable to go out in public in most of them for fear of arrest for indecent exposure. But, if I'm going to go, I must get some sleep. Oh, yeah. Happy Daylight Saving Time! (It's six AM. Do you know where your breakfast is?)

Most people probably don't know that Chico is one of what is known as the Tri-Cities.
It is just across the river from Groucho and Harpo.

There are actually five incorporated cities in Butte County. Besides Chico, there are Oroville (the county seat) Paradise, Gridley and Biggs. I once suggested that Oroville be renamed Groucho, Paradise Harpo, Gridley Zeppo and Biggs Gummo. Then we could rename Butte County Marx County. But nobody would take me seriously. People around here just have no imagination.
