I have no idea what happened to Thursday, but I have the feeling I thought it was Friday anyway, so no real loss. I have a vague memory of seeing a hummingbird and of microwaving some burritos, and then of turning on the air conditioner, and then I woke up at half past three in the morning not knowing what day it was. I think I should try to get more sleep before the day gets any hotter. Maybe it will be Saturday when I wake up.

Unless they were from observant Jewish families, of course.

That's true. I'd have to start doing Saturday Verse, and it would have to compete with NASCAR events.
