So I went out to see the moon, arriving just as it vanished in clouds, and then a most unexpected rain began to fall. It was not heavy rain, but it sounded nice and smelled even better, and I listened to it for several minutes until it diminished and stopped and left only the fresh scent and the sound of gathered drops falling from the trees. Maybe it will return later. For now, only the moon has returned to light the tantalizing clouds.
