Delayed

The computer has been especially tedious today, taking hours to do what should take only minutes. I'd swear it has learned how to secretly surf the web for its own gratification— probably looking at the computer equivalent of pr0n.

The night has turned much cooler than recent nights have been, and there's something like a very thin fog hanging in the air, but I'm not expecting any actual fog to appear. More's the pity. A nice fog would improve my mood greatly, I'm sure.

I have not received a single greeting of Happy Boxing Day today. It looks like the War on Boxing Day is over. RIP, Boxing Day.

Still alive here, of course. The Boxing Day sales were quite crowded and hectic, I gather. Our local supermarket was closed so I had to go to another to get milk and bread.

Somehow Boxing Day never made it to the United States, but if it had, I'm sure that there would be a whole slew of media figures pretending to be worried about its survival. In their absence, I must take up the cause of pretending to defend the absent holiday. It's the perfect fight for me, because it's not only doomed, it's irrelevant.
