Well, that was weird...

I don't remember when I fell asleep, but it must have been before ten o'clock last night. I woke up and had no idea what time it was, but there was an infomercial on television and so I knew it was pretty late, but it was still dark out so I knew it was pretty early. The clock I can see doesn't work, and the clock that works I can't see. I tried to get back to sleep but don't know if I did or not, but eventually a bird was chirping and I saw pale light through the drapes, so I got up and it was then half past five in the morning. The computer was still on, but I had never written the journal entry I was planning to post last night, and now I can't remember what it was about. I think this all happened because I woke up too early yesterday morning and didn't get a nap yesterday afternoon. Anyway, I'll probably be muddled for a couple more hours and vaguely disoriented for the rest of the day.

I miss having a routine.

I sure do hear you about that. In the winter, I was sleeping in late after wandering the house around 4:00. Now that it's light early and stays light late, I'm getting a few solid hours but getting up early. That requires a nap later. This sleep thing used to be so easy, when I was young. :/
