The moon is getting fuller and brighter. Soon it will be as big as my head feels tonight. Sleeping on the couch with my head jammed into a corner is a bad idea, especially when I do it for four hours, and right after dinner. I didn't get the windows open until long after dark, either. Good thing tonight was not a watering night. I'd have missed it.

It was hot (for Seattle) again today. Phooey. I'm done with this summery sunshine, too. Thomas the barista told me with amusement that I'm in a minority -- most people coming in for coffee are thrilled with the late-season warmth.
