Lately I've had some odd dreams of which I recall the merest scraps, most of which involve decayed urban buildings with missing walls exposing their rooms. There are also disembodied voices, but I can't catch any of the words they say. It probably means I'm about to have a stroke or something. If so, I hope it holds off until I get to enjoy at least a few cool days. It would be a terrible fate to endure all of this torrid summer and then die before I can cool off. Besides, I've never visited Omaha or Toledo. What kind of wasted life would that have been?
