It was a bit cooler to day than it was yesterday, but the house wasn't. I slept too little last night, woke up too early, then went back to sleep without closing the windows or turning off the fan. I woke again sweltering about one o'clock in the afternoon, and haven't recovered yet. It will probably take most of the night for the house to cool off, and I hope I don't do the same thing again tomorrow. I so dislike having to wait until it's nearly dawn before taking a shower because the house is too hot.
